About Meals on Wheels Hopper

Interested in delivering hot nutritious meals made from scratch to homebound seniors living in Calhoun County? Route Hoppers are the people that take the meals to the door, serve 1-2 times per month or more if you like. Meals are delivered weekdays at 10:30 AM out of the Kool Familly Community Center and delivery can take 1 to 2 hours. Hoppers are matched with a route driver. We are in need of several caring and friendly volunteers. This is a great opportunity for you to volunteer with your spouse, family member, friend or meet someone new.

Application Process

Those interested in volunteering must complete a Volunteer Application and provide copy of government issued ID or drivers license. Volunteer positions require a confidential criminal history check, and some volunteer positions require a driving record and/or reference check.
