About Meals on Wheels Driver

Interested in delivering freshly-made, hot nutritious meals to homebound seniors living in Calhoun County? Route Drivers serve 1-2 times a month, or more if you want! Meals are delivered weekdays at 10:30am out of the Kool Family Community Center and delivery takes about 1-1.5 hours. Drivers are accompanied by a hopper (the person who takes the meals to the door). Several caring and friendly volunteers are needed. This is a great opportunity to do with your spouse, family member, friend or meet someone new by being matched with another volunteer!

Application Process

Those interested in volunteering must complete a Volunteer Application and provide copy of government issued ID or drivers license. Volunteer positions require a confidential criminal history check, and some volunteer positions require a driving record and/or reference check.
