About Literacy Backpacks

Help create themed backpacks that are shared with families. Bilingual selections are helpful. Families are encouraged to borrow the packs and enjoy the books and activities together.

Application Process

Think of a theme and create a Literacy Bag to donate. Packs should include fiction and non-fiction books, a small toy and/or small game. Teachers will create the folders and journals to use with it.

Family-Friendly

Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
