About Mexico Winter Break Service Project

Are you looking for something to do this Winter Break? How about volunteering with us in Playa del Carmen, Mexico? This project brought to you by the student organization, International Volunteer Action Corps and the Office of Cultural & Academic Transitions (OCAT) . We want you to join us! If you are interested, don't wait too long - slots are filling up fast.

This exciting opportunity is open to MSU students, alumni and friends of MSU. The dates are 13-23 December 2014.

We will volunteer at a local urban park that is heavily used by the local people. The park focuses on ecological and environmental issues.
Playa del Carmen is only 40 minutes south of Cancun and is on the Caribbean coast. We also plan on visiting a Mayan ruin and other cultural activities.
