About Environmental Stewardship Volunteering - for the birds!

Help Michigan Audubon improve bird habitat by removing invasive species! The focus of our weekly Wednesday workdays varies seasonally, but for fall and winter we are karate chopping invasive shrubs like autumn olive from the meadow. We also provide hand saws and loppers for when ninja skills just won't cut it. These workdays happen every Wednesday from 9am - 12pm, pending good weather. Volunteers can attend as many workdays as they like; this does not require a weekly time commitment. Come out for a day of battling invasive species in the great outdoors!

If Wednesday workdays do not work for your schedule, but these projects sound right up your alley, please contact us! We're happy to schedule additional workdays for really awesome people that care about birds as much as we do.
