About Youth Mentor, Receptionist, Dining Site

We recognize the gift in volunteering and seek the wisdom and experience of those in our community who have the desire and ability to give back. Delavan Grider Community Center is seeking volunteers to move the agency forward.
We are seeking male mentors to work with the young men that participate in center programming on weekdays from 6:00pm-9:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am-2:00pm. The volunteers will be modeling positive interaction and assisting with the monitoring of programming and recreational activities.
A receptionist is needed to cover the front desk Monday through Friday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. The receptionist duties are to answer all inquires, direct visitors and members to various center activities and schedule events/rentals.
Dining Site Coordinator- The dining site coordinator position sets up the lunch area for senior citizens who attend senior programming at the center on weekdays, excluding holidays from 12:00pm-1:00pm. The dining site coordinator keeps daily intake of seniors attending dining site, makes coffee and hot water, stocks condiments, cutlery and other incidentals pertaining to the dining site. Assists with the intake application of seniors attending dining site.
