About Volunteer

Mercy House is looking for community volunteers, schools, clubs, businesses, individuals, and groups to share their special talents and skills.

Volunteers have the opportunity to serve at one of our Emergency Shelters or Permanent Housing Sites in Orange County. Depending on the day, they can help with cleaning, organizing, serving food, holiday events, and more.

Application Process

If you are interested in volunteering, the first step is to connect with our Community Engagement Team to discuss your interests and time availability. In addition, you will be asked to provide general background information including paid or volunteer experience and any training you have completed. We will review your area of interest and will coordinate an assignment for you to fit your schedule.
