About Mercado Global Celebration 2017

Help Mercado Global on October 18th at the Prince George Ballroom for our largest Fundraising Gala of the year. It will be an evening of inspiration and action with business leaders, top retailers, major philanthropists and members of the press to celebrate sustainability in fashion and women’s empowerment through economic opportunity.

Mercado Global is a nonprofit that empowers indigenous women in rural Latin America to break the cycle of local poverty by providing business development support and international market access. Through Mercado Global's business education and market access programs, these women are rising to become successful entrepreneurs and are earning the income they need to send their children to school, often for the first time. These community-based education trainings allow women to make self-identified investments in areas such as financial literacy, community education and health.
