What are our services worth to you? $6.00 perhaps?
Just $6.00 - if you can give more GREAT - but if we all give at least $6.00, we strengthen our community together!
The Mechanicville Area Community Services Center makes sure resources are readily accessible to your family & neighbors. From childcare, advocacy, food pantry, & tax prep, to pre-school, clinics, community events or just a place to play ball, MACSC meets a variety of community needs.
Perhaps you or someone you know have visited our food pantry to make ends meet, have a loved one struggling to free themselves from domestic abuse, or maybe you played ball in our gym growing up - don't you want to make sure those same opportunities are available for the rest of your community?
$6.00 purchases 25 meals to distribute from our emergency food pantry.
$12.00 provides a child with necessary school supplies, backpack and sneakers to start their school year with confidence.
$23.00 keeps teens off the streets during open gym time.
$44.00 strengthens safety networks for victims of domestic abuse with a two-hour support group.
We are a center OF the community, BY the community and FOR the community - a contribution to MACSC helps local people right in your backyard. We truly are the people in your neighborhood.
In 2015, thanks to MACSC and community supporters like you:
718 local kids & seniors opened more than 3,200 holiday gifts.
1,652 people received 16,810 meals from the MACSC Food Pantry & 1,500 family members ate turkeys with all the Thanksgiving trimmings because of individual & corporate donors.
300 victims of domestic violence accessed crisis support, legal and resource advocacy.
Your $6.00 makes sure these community based programs continue!
Every little bit makes a big difference.
Thank you all!
