About Youth Memory Study

The Eakin Memory and Metamemory (M&M) Lab and the Bethel Social, Therapeutic, and Robotic Systems (STaRS) Lab are looking for children between the ages of 8 and 12 to participate in research at Mississippi State University!

This study will be one session. Individual sessions will be scheduled for each child based on availability. For this particular study, children will be asked to watch a short slideshow. After the slideshow, the children will be interviewed by either a human or a robot about what they saw during the slideshow. Then, at the end of the study, the children will be given a final memory test about what they remember seeing in the slideshow. The entire study will take about an hour and children will be compensated $10 for participating.

The study will run from June 2 to June 18, with sessions each day between the hours of 10 am and 7 pm.
