Neighborhood Food Drive Pick Up
Hosted by: Maroon Volunteer Center
About Neighborhood Food Drive Pick Up
The Maroon Volunteer Center & Volunteer Starkville will be picking up the previously distributed food drive bags in local neighborhoods around the Starkville community on Thursday, October 29th from 3:00 - 5:00 PM and we need your help! Volunteers are needed to go to the neighborhood they are assigned to and pick up bags from residents who have donated to the food drive. Residents will have placed the bags at the end of their driveways and volunteers will be picking them up along a certain route and bringing them back to the Maroon Volunteer Center.
This food drive benefits the Backpack Buddies program at the First United Methodist Church in Starkville, which provides weekend meals for children in the Starkville School District who otherwise might go hungry.
