About Pawsitive Change Prison Program

We thank you for your interest in volunteering with Marley’s Mutts. One of our programs Pawsitive Change is in need of volunteers for specific areas and we would like to know if any of these are of interest to you.

1. Drivers

Since Pawsitive Change matches rescued dogs with prison inmates we need transport to and from the following areas:

Los Angeles
Santa Clarita
California City
Mojave
Delano
Corcoran
Wasco
Bakersfield

The dogs will need occasional transport from foster to vet visits, pick up and drop off from prison and/or from foster to foster. Volunteer should be 18 years or older and have a valid California Drivers License and valid registration/ insurance.

2. Administration Assistance

Pawsitive Change is expanding very rapidly so we are in need of someone who has an eagerness to help organize files, create spread sheets and/or transcribe inmates’ homework to the Cloud.

This job can be done remotely.

3. Social Media Outreach

If you love creating stories to be posted on Facebook or Instagram, join our team. We need help showing daily updates from inmates and dogs that are in the program.
