About Aunt Joyce's Kids Retreat for Special Needs Students
The “Awesome” Retreat (for students on Individualized Educational Plans (IEP), dyslexia diagnosis, or with other special needs, ages 8 through 18 or high school senior) is a summer weekend camp hosted by Aunt Joyce’s Kids [a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (AJK)] that comes to the communities the summer prior to each academic school year. This camp is to introduce who our team is, our goals for their students, and to open relationships with the parents of every student involved that may be attending the tutoring sessions hosted by AJK for the upcoming school year.
