About Horse Leader

Horse leaders lead our therapy horses during our riders' lessons. Horse leaders have completed the introductory volunteer training and complete additional training to qualify to lead the horses. Training includes: grooming, tacking, and walking procedures, as well as, care of the horses after the lessons.

Application Process

Complete the Volunteer Application and attend volunteer training. Become a regular, reliable and responsible volunteer. Inquire about or be selected for additional training.
