About Build a school

Last year we started building a school in Nkhata Bay, Malawi. The school is meant to host 35 children after the normal school working hours. Most of these children do not have families or come from a very poor background. Having a shelter school where to go to will keep them off the street. The foundations and the walls are already there, but we need help to finish the work. And after a good working day, what better than going for a swim in the crystalline blue waters of Lake Malawi just 5min walking from there?

Application Process

If you are interested please contact us via email, explaining something from your background, your motivation and when/for how long you would like to support us in Nkhata Bay. We will come back to you in a couple of days.

Put up the roof

Fixing doors and windows

Electrician

Someone with good electrician skills who can fix a light. The school has none, but electricity connection is available.

We need someone possibly with some experience in coordinating a group of local workers who takes responsibility for the actual completion of the works and coordinate the different operations.
