About Fundraising Committee

If you enjoy events and talking to people about your passion for the arts, this committee would love your help! This committee is responsible for organizing MCS' annual fundraiser and auction. Tasks include event planning, setup and marketing, and asking for monetary and/or auction item donations. For years, MCS has had a wine tasting and auction. Last year, MCS tried a Cabaret with dinner, a bar, and a silent auction, which was very successful. If you have large scale fundraiser ideas that have worked, please join this committee and share!

Application Process

This committee meets a couple of times per month anywhere from two to four months prior to the fundraiser, depending on the theme. As the event date gets closer, this committee meets more often to organize materials, tickets and donations. Our annual fundraiser takes place in the fall (between mid October and mid November).
