About Community and Educational Outreach Committee

In Spring 2015, we started a new initiative of creating a bi-annual listening guide of the music we are performing each semester to distribute to all of the Manchester area schools. The listening guides offer ideas for teachers on how they can incorporate music into their curriculum, particularly if their school no longer has a music program. In the next fiscal year, we will offer workshops in the schools to support the listening guide, engage more students in the rehearsal and performance process, and to get them excited for our performances. If you have assembled a few lesson plans, and/or enjoy working with children or other organizations, we would love your help!
