About Make-A-Wish Greater PA
We grant wishes for children ages 2.5 - 18 years of age who are living with life threatening medical conditions throughout Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Lycoming, Monroe, Pike, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Wayne and Wyoming Counties, in order to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
We need volunteers to help with:
Office Support

Help with mailings, phone calls, filing and special projects
Fundraising

Work with Development Staff to help implement fund-raising programs at schools and workplaces or hosts special events such as golf tournaments, motorcycle runs and dances.
Wish Granting

"Wish teams" work in groups of 2 or 3 to make the wish process as carefree and magical as possible for our families. Wish granters meet with the family, determine the child's wish and act as a liaison between the staff and the family throughout our 11 county service territory in order to make the wish come true.
Fall Internship

As an intern at the Make-A-Wish Foundation, you are exposed to three facets of a non-profit organization: Outreach, Development, and Program Services. In addition, you will be asked to
