About Volunteers Needed Wednesday evenings 9-7-16 to 10-19-16 for Latino family reading program
Program is in Spanish and English, but being fluent in Spanish is not necessary. We need roughly 5-8 volunteers for 7 consecutive Wednesday evenings. Great opportunity for church groups, civic clubs, etc. or individuals.
Serve food, head counts, arts & crafts with smaller children, help distribute materials (books, paperwork, prizes), set up tables/tablecloth/chairs, tear down tables after dinner, wipe down tablecloth, sweep and mop, put chairs in library back in place, wrap up foods, take serving dishes to the rear kitchen and clean dishes. Make sure bathrooms remain open, welcome families and direct them to the registration table and seats
Wednesdays, September 7 - October 19 5:30 - 9:30. Can help move chairs if they can be here by 5:30. Should (hopefully) be done by 9:30 but we have been known to get out at 10:00. If they can't make 5:30 - 6:00 pm will do.
