About Volunteer Coordinator

Currently, our physical office is closed to the public due to the pandemic. This opportunity can be performed virtually, but the volunteer must be within commuting distance of Northampton MA 01060. Anyone entering our physical office must follow LDRC policies and procedures for the safety of all.

Duties:

Assist Executive Director with screening of volunteer prospects.
Assist in volunteer training & development
Maintain volunteer schedule.
Manage volunteer opportunities.
Commit to one year of service.

Qualifications:

Familiarity with Lyme and tick-borne illness and the issues surrounding the disease.
Must exhibit a high degree of ethics and integrity in dealing with personal data.
Must be professional with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Must have proficiency in Zoom, Microsoft applications, and Google products.

Experience in training volunteers is preferred but not required.
