About Share your love of reading with local children!
We need volunteers who love to make kids laugh and want to share the wonder of books and literacy with children all across Lowndes County. You will get the chance to go to local classrooms and preschools on a regular basis and read a fun story or two to the children!
Application Process
A background check will be required, and all volunteers will be asked to attend a brief orientation to receive the handbook and general guidelines.

Read at Stewart's Learning Center in Columbus
January 6, 2016 9:30am – May 4, 2016 9:30am
Read to 1, 2, 3, and 4-year-olds the 1st Wednesday of each month from 9:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
Read at Cook Elementary in Columbus
January 8, 2016 11:30am – May 6, 2016 11:30am
Read to pre-k and kindergartners the 1st Friday of each month from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Read to 1, 2, 3, and 4-year-olds each Monday morning from 9-9:20 a.m.
Read at ABC & Me Christian Preschool and Daycare near New Hope

Read to 1, 2, 3, and 4-year-olds the last Thursday of each month from 9:00-9:45 a.m.
