About Rebuilding Volunteer Program

Volunteers work with us to help rebuild homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina and the levee failures of 2005. We work for residents of the neighborhood, many of whom have lived here their whole lives. Work can be anything from painting, to framing, roofing, flooring, sheetrock, etcetera! Volunteers can work for a day, a week, or longer. We have a volunteer house for those from out of town or who want to work with us for a period of time. Help us rebuild the Ward!
