About Water Watchdogs Program

We need eyes and ears out on the Susquehanna River and its tributaries! Being part of the Water Watchdogs gives you the opportunity to assist in microplastics sampling & research, bacteria monitoring and general reporting on any signs of pollution, fish kills/diseased fish, or anything out of the ordinary. Our territory is from Selinsgrove to the Chesapeake Bay at Havre de Grace. The jurisdiction also includes the Juniata Watershed as well. We need your help to protect and improve the Lower Susquehanna Watershed. Please become a Water Watchdog today and help us on our mission. This program will also allow Water Watchdog volunteers to be part of our water quality monitoring program, stream cleanups and other fun engaging initiatives we are pursuing.

Family-Friendly

Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
