About Tutor-Learner Partnering

Commit 1-2 hours weekly as a friend and learning mentor. Help someone improve reading, writing, math, basic computer, or English speaking skills. Your learning partner may be an adult, teen, or parent with a young child. You will work with them to set specific goals, then serve to help him or her accomplish the goals.

Application Process

Volunteer tutors will be asked to complete an application, agree to a criminal background check, and attend a mandatory 4-5 hour volunteer tutor workshop. Volunteer tutors must be at least 18 years of age and an excellent reader.
