About Lifelong Friends Pet Adoptions: Volunteer Details

You have to be over 18 to volunteer at our shelter.

If you would like to work with the cats that usually takes about 2 hours and involves scooping litterboxes, feeding, and cleaning up. If you would prefer working with dogs we have a morning, afternoon and evening shifts. Morning and evening shift involves walking dogs, feeding, medicating, cleaning kennels, and general clean up. We also have dog-walking only shifts.

In addition to these we also do off site adoptions twice a month (you have to be able to come to the shelter to help transport the animals) and have lots of fundraisers throughout the year.
