About Attorneys Emeritus

Have you been practicing law for the past 10 years? Are you 55 years young or older? Are you interested in receiving up to 15 credits of CLE for FREE? Then signing up for the Attorney Emeritus Program and volunteering your time with Legal Assistance of Western New York is the place for you!

When you sign up for the Attorney Emeritus Program, you are pledging your time over a two year period. Sixty hours are required for completion of the Attorney Emeritus Program, and you can earn 15 credits towards your CLE requirement. Our office would be able to refer clients to you that have legal problems in the area of law in which you currently practice, or if you are interested in becoming familiar with a new area of law, we can provide you with the training and tools necessary to confidently represent our clients.
