The Law Annual Fund for Scholarship
When you give back to Cornell Law School, you create lifelong opportunities and fulfill personal dreams for law students such as Gargi Chaudhuri. A Harvard graduate, Gargi is a highly motivated JD/MBA student who loves to travel, sing and play the guitar, and speaks three languages. She is also a Cornell Law Review Associate, Lawyering Honors Fellow, and recipient of two CALI Awards.
“This would not be possible without the financial support from my scholarship,” Gargi says. “It was more than the money,” she adds about her decision to attend Cornell Law School. “The scholarship was a message from the school and its alumni that I had the potential to do well in the legal field.”
There are many more outstanding students like Gargi who will enroll at Cornell Law School—if they get the same encouragement and help. Over the past three years, we have more than doubled our financial aid spending. Today 8 in 10 Cornell Law students will receive financial aid during this school year. As a result, the debt load of our students at graduation is declining fast and is lower than it has been in years. Our goal is to continue this trend, but we can only do it with your support.
