About Fifth Annual Magnolia State Bank Chili Cook Off
Laurel Main Street kicks off each new year with the annual Magnolia State Bank Chili Cook Off! The event takes place the third Saturday in February and is held downtown with music, beverages, and teams competing to be the winner.
Volunteers will be needed to help sell tickets and the accompanying bowl, shirts, and raffle tickets. We will need runners helping facilitate judging and relaying messages, and volunteers will be needed for setup before the event and takedown after.

Setting up the event
February 20, 2016 7:00am – 10:00am
Our teams are strong, but they'd love some help! We are setting up fencing and tents for the security of attendees, as well as Laurel Main Street's booths for selling shirts and tickets.
Who volunteered?
Take down after the event
February 20, 2016 2:00pm – 3:00pm
After all the fun, there's always cleanup. We need some people to help take down tents and get everything back in order so that Monday can be business as usual for Central Avenue!
Runners
February 20, 2016 11:00am – 2:00pm
We always need some people standing by to help with miscellaneous tasks along the way. Everything from communicating with judges to alerting teams of deadlines will be included.

We have some awesome shirts, bowls, and beer that the public wants, so we're going to give it to them! However, please let us know if you are under 21 as you cannot serve beer.
