About Laurel Home Town Troops

Laurel Home Town Troops began in 2001 following 9/11. Gene and Cindy Burns saw a need to ship care packages not only to their deployed son but to others in his unit who did not receive packages. Our mission is to raise funds and pack care packages for our deployed military personnel (and their units) with ties to the state of Montana. Our mission is to continue this work until they all come home. Every penny donated to LHTT is used for this purpose only.

Application Process

Call Ranae at 406-698-4070 or come to a meeting on the First Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m at the Jaycee Hall in Riverside Park, Laurel, MT. There are no membership fees and no requirements other than a desire to provide care packages for thousands of delployed troops.

Family-Friendly

Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
