About Tutors
We need tutors to assist 7th-12th grade students in core courses. We especially need tutors in Chemistry, Physics, and Algebra.
Application Process
tutors would need to complete the background check form that can be found on http://www.lansingschools.net/downloads/public_safety/dps_volunteer_application_2015_16.pdf

We need volunteers to help with:
Math tutors after school
February 1, 2016 3:00pm – May 6, 2016 4:15pm
tutoring students after school on Mondays and Wednesdays in 7th-12th grade math. This may include calculus
Math tutors during school
February 1, 2016 8:30am – May 13, 2016 10:30am
assist algebra teacher by giving one on one or small group assistance to students during class. Each volunteer could do one day per week
chemistry and physics tutors during lunch
February 1, 2016 11:30am – May 13, 2016 1:15pm
tutoring high school students during their lunch periods in chemistry, physics and/or Biology
chemistry and physics tutors after school
