About Home Delivered Meals Volunteer

Volunteers for our Home Delivered Meal program, fit serving those in need in their community into a schedule that works best for them. We use the volunteer preferences to set up the monthly schedule. Some groups choose one week a month to volunteer and split the days within their group. Some individuals let us know which days work well for them and how many times a month they would like to be on the schedule. The normal pick up time is around 10:30am-11am and the routes can take about an hour or less to complete and then the bags and coolers are dropped off where you picked them up. Some volunteers like to help pack the meals and so come a few minutes early on those days and help in the kitchen. When you pick up your meals for delivery on your scheduled day, you are provided with a route sheet and staff is available to answer any question you may have or provide assistance loading the cooler and bag into your vehicle. Delivering meals to those who so desperately need them is a blessing for the client and for you as the volunteer. We are so thankful to be able to serve some very special people and are blessed to have an incredible volunteer team!
