About Volunteer Literacy Tutor

The volunteer literacy tutor will be trained, and matched with a learner that needs help in improving their reading and writing skills. Volunteers will meet 1 - 2 times a week for an hour with the learner. Materials will be provided for tutors and learners. Staff is available for support. Additional workshops and conferences are available for volunteers to attend, and enhance their tutoring techniques.
