Superhero 5k/10k/Family Fun Run

Beginning at Pride Field run through the University of Southern's Mississippi's campus, enjoy a morning of fun, activity, and laughter while showing your support in stopping Child Abuse in its Trax.

Kids Hub encourages participants to dress as their favorite Super Heroes.

Whether you are a long time runner, a beginner, or someone who has never ran before, this event is for you. It allows the runner/walker to go at their own pace and support the children in their communities. Kids Hub Child Advocacy Center welcomes adults and children of all ages to run and/or walk in one or both events. We would love nothing more than to see families of all ages, sizes, and cultures spending their Saturday encouraging each other, supporting their community, and working together to prevent child abuse.

8:30 Registration

*9:00 10k

*9:15 5k

*10:00 Family Fun Run 

*11:00 Announce Race and Costume Winners

During the event Local Superheroes (Policemen, Firemen, and Soldiers just to name a few) will be at the Start/Finish Line for children of all ages to visit with and explore their vehicles. There will also be games and activities for children to participate in. The children's activities are FREE OF CHARGE!!!

Registration

Registration begins now and goes through November 18th. After this time, you will be able to register the morning of the race at Town Square Park.

$25/ runner for the 5k

$25/ runner for the 10k

$25/ family for the Fun Run

*$30 registration fee after November 16th

*Please contact Kids Hub CAC if you are interested in running the race as a group or a club. Special rates apply to running groups, student organizations, or any other club that would like to participate.

*If you would like to register for more than one race, please complete two separate registration forms.

During registration, we welcome you to make a tax deductible donation to our organization and to purchase our Superhero T-shirts. On November 1st, between the hours of 8am and 8pm, when you register for the race you will receive your T-shirt FREE.

*All times are approximate as events will run simultaneously. These times are estimated as we are unsure of exactly how long each event will last. The 10k will begin at approximately 9:00am with the 5k to begin 15 minutes later. The Family Fun Run/Walk to directly follow the 5k/10k and the Awards to be presented directly after the Family Fun Run/Walk.
