About On-Site Volunteer Opportunities

Six days a week during the school year and summer, over 175 volunteers join us at the Kids' Food Basket headquarters to help create meals that will send kids to bed with a full stomach. With the help of these volunteers, more than nearly 6,000 Sack Suppers are packed and delivered to 30 schools throughout Kent and Muskegon counties.

There are two ways you can join us by volunteering on-site at Kids' Food Basket:

--Drivers:
Drivers come to Kids' Food Basket on a scheduled day each week, between 1:30 and 2:00 pm, to deliver Sack Suppers to assigned schools. Depending on your location, driving usually takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Contact Becca if you would like to become a driver or add yourself to the substitute driver list.

--Repackers, Packers and
Sandwich Makers:
Throughout most of the school year and summer we have opportunities during the day, after school, in the evenings, and on Sunday afternoons. Individuals, families (with children of at least kindergarten age), companies, church groups, and others are welcome. Contact Becca to talk about specific details for yourself or a group.
