About Community Service Day
On August 29, 2015 Keene State College partnered with community members all over the Monadnock Region to engage in service. The tasks varied from washing the Keene Fire Department's trucks to Roadside cleanup.
We need volunteers to help with:
Stop Hunger Now Break Down Crew
August 29, 2015 5:00pm
Volunteers on this shift will help break down tables, sweep floors, and pack up materials. Be prepared to bend and lift. Closed toed shoes are a must.
Morning Registration
August 29, 2015 7:30am – 8:00am
Volunteers will help check-in participants, distribute t-shirts, and usher participants to buses.
Stop Hunger Now Set Up Crew
August 29, 2015 7:30am – 9:00am
Volunteers will help set up materials to package 18,000 meals. Please be prepared to move tables, bend, and lift. Closed toed shoes are a must.
Morning Reflection
August 29, 2015 11:00am – 1:00pm
Volunteers will share a meal with participants and debrief their experience using provided prompts and casual conversation.
Afternoon Registration
August 29, 2015 1:30pm – 3:00pm
Volunteers will help check in participants, hand-out shirts, and usher participants to buses.
