About Member - Walk A Mile in Her Shoes - SAFE Place
Every October we join an advocacy event hosted by the SAFE Place domestic violence shelter. This event brings awareness to the often silent fight against domestic violence in our community and particularly seeks to involve men in the campaign. The SAFE Place provides temporary shelter and crisis intervention services for victims of domestic violence (including counseling, advocacy and public education) in Calhoun, Barry, and Eaton Counties.
Family-Friendly
Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.

We would like your support in our “Walk Us Out Of Business & Walk a Mile®” fundraising event scheduled for Saturday, October 21th. Our goal is to promote education and awareness to end domestic violence and create a safer community. Volunteer to help the day of the event. Many hands make for light work!
