About SafePlace Walk-A-Mile

Come out to support the fight against domestic violence by walking a mile in her shoes. Don't miss this playful opportunity for men to raise awareness in their community about the serious causes, effects and remediations to men's violence against women. If the one mile walk isn't enough, come support the event by running a 5 K.

JLBC members will be providing support for SafePlace in the form of volunteers to help distribute shoes to those participating in the walk, in addition to assisting on the course for the 5K run.

The time is a rough estimate of when we might need to report, but the event will be updated upon being given a set time by SafePlace.

Location - Lakeview Square Mall, inside main food door by Applebee's & Buffalo Wild Wings

Arrival time - 9:30

Duties - pass out shoes to walkers & help distribute prizes during ceremony

We hope to see everyone there!
