About Performance: Incidence

Presented in part of First Night Winchester.

A life-size kinetic sculpture, created by artist Howard Connelly, is manipulated by the dancers. The sculpture re-configures from vertical to horizontal, to shape the dance as it circles the structure.
Incidence was selected by the Cultural Development Corporation for the Mead Theater Lab Program at Flashpoint, for Velocity DC Dance Festival, for the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival in Reston VA and as a temporary public art project for the City of Alexandria.
