About JMAA Navigator - an airport customer service ambassador


Jackson Municipal Airport Authority NAVIGATORS are committed to the delivery of effective, courteous information services to all passengers, visitors, and employees.

The goals of the program are achieved through the ongoing pursuit of quality in concert with goodwill and hospitality. Our NAVIGATORS are treated with appreciation and respect and reflect the diversity of the travelers served.


As a non-paid volunteer, the JMAA NAVIGATORS act as good-will ambassadors, by providing courteous, friendly assistance from the Airport’s Information Center. The Information Center is located on the departure level of the main terminal. The types of assistance are informational, guidance, and directional.

NAVIGATORS also have the opportunity to participate in special projects and events that take place at the Jackson – Evers International Airport throughout the year.
