About 2015 Play Symposium Support

ICG's second annual Play Symposium is taking place the first weekend of October and we're looking for volunteers to fill various roles.

The available roles are:

Play Symposium Prep - This will involve stopping by our office to assist with putting together packets for Symposium guests, making name badges, and creating signage required to direct our guests.

Registration - We're looking for 1 - 2 volunteers to work the Symposium registration table. This will involve checking in guests, handing out name tags, and answering any questions guests may have about the Symposium, the Children's Garden, or the city of Ithaca in general.

Food Set Up - ICG has secured food donations from local eateries (CTB, On The Street) for breakfast and lunch for the symposium and need volunteers to help with food set up. Preferably, interested volunteers will be available both days (Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd) from 9-2.

Clean-up - Following the Symposium events on both Friday and Saturday ICG will need help tiding up the event space. This will be a 1-2 hour cleaning party taking place at 4 pm both days.

Food and refreshments will be available for Symposium volunteers and if any volunteers are interested in attending the Play Symposium, attendance can be discussed.
