About Jakarta center co_directer

The International Humanity Foundation’s (IHF) mission is to educate the poor and the other half is to educate the world about the poor. Our vision is to strive for a world of leaders and citizens who have interacted with, and are truly knowledgeable about the world's poor. We believe in a "pass it on" philosophy where education is free and available for all who seek it. Those of us who have received a free education pass it on by helping others less fortunate by teaching, interacting and learning. With just a few hours a week, our volunteers, children and sponsors are changing the world we live in. IHF is a non-religious, non-political, non-profit organization that strongly believes in an equal opportunity for all and in preserving the cultures, traditions and beliefs of the marginalized communities it works in.

IHF is currently seeking a long term at-center volunteer to direct and manage our center in Jakarta, Indonesia. This position provides training, followed by work both with the community we serve, as well as administrative tasks that enable an international organization to function. The role includes managing center operations, legalities, community development, finance, fundraising, media and communications, and more. This is a comprehensive position, with local and international volunteers participating in rotational assignments in the core components of IHF. The role requires a hard-working intermediate English speaking individual who cares for education and alleviating poverty, in addition to committing for two years.
Joining IHF as a director will enhance your CV and allow you to gain international experience working with people from diverse cultures. The opportunities within this position will also give valuable knowledge for anyone wanting to start a career in the non-profit sector, in addition to great leadership skills. All this while you have an opportunity to explore new magical places in Jakarta.
The role is a live-in position. Free shared room and board are provided, monthly stipends are given to provide for extra expenditures on your days off.
