Searching for a transformative volunteer opportunity that will change lives?

The Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL), founded in 2002, is an independent, not-for-profit organization that helps small business owners become better entrepreneurial leaders. Our mission is to help entrepreneurs from historically underserved communities gain access to the knowledge, networks and capital they need to succeed. We take a holistic, hands-on approach to helping entrepreneurs visualize where they want to go, prioritize what they need to do to get there, and create and implement a plan to get to the next level.

We are looking for people who share our vision and a passion for the IFEL mission to join our volunteer community as subject matter experts. The time commitment is 2 hours per month, by phone/video conference, for a minimum of 6 months.

Your responsibility as a Subject Matter Expert will be to work one-on-one with an IFEL entrepreneur to help him/her with a specific issue or project in your area of expertise. The business mentor will help the entrepreneur to frame the specific issue that needs to be addressed to maximize your involvement. Our goal is to help more entrepreneurs succeed. When more entrepreneurs succeed, jobs are created, families flourish and communities thrive.
