Informed by Nature is a science education nonprofit organization based in Southern California. We’re launching our ‘Science in the Classroom’ pilot program and looking for college students interested in working with us as volunteers. We are looking for dedicated students, preferably with a background in education or science, who will visit sites in El Monte throughout the semester and help us excite young kids (grades 3-6) about science.

Informed by Nature will train the volunteers and prepare them to run hour-long sessions with the students that include hands-on project-based lessons. Trained volunteers will have the opportunity to bring a passion for science and general love of learning to these students. Come join us today and help children discover the wonder of science!
