About Scranton Cooperative Farmer's Market
Indraloka occupies a tent in the center aisle of the market each Wednesday. We have photographs, t-shirts and raffle tickets for sale. We hand out brochures and offer tours of the sanctuary to interested people. Volunteers are needed to work at this tent each Wednesday throughout the season.
We need volunteers to help with:

If you enjoy meeting people and talking about animals, this is an opportunity for you! People are needed to come out to arts, cultural and social events and work at the Indraloka Animal Sanctuary tent. We are currently selling items such as raffle tickets, t-shirts and photographs. We also acept donations and take contact information from people interested in tours, recieving updates or educational programs. We attend fun and interesting events like art gatherings, First Fridays and music festivals. We have a great time and make friends for the animals!
Who volunteered?
Animal Feeder
Compassionate, reliable people are needed to be responsible for the feeding and watering of the animals at the farm. There are about 150 animals of various species from cats to cows on the farm who need to be fed each AM and PM. Volunteers will be trained and not expected to feed alone until they are completely comfortable. Typically, volunteers sign up for one feeding a week, but we also need volunteers who can occassionally fill in when others are unable to keep their commitment.
