About Help Families Receive the Refunds They Deserve! 2020

If you want to feel appreciated by the people you assist, then this is the program for you! Make a difference in the lives of many low to moderate income senior citizens/families by helping them prepare and e-file their federal and state income tax returns. No prior tax preparation experience is necessary as we will teach you all you will need to know to become IRS certified to work at our site. V.I.T.A. (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) sites only prepare simple tax forms - all complicated returns are referred to paid preparers. Our income tax software places all information inputted into the proper places on the forms and even performs the calculations for you! The site is located on the second floor of the Terrebonne Main Library and is open every Tuesday from 9am - 3pm beginning on February 5, 2020 and ending on April 9, 2020. We welcome you to become a part of our dedicated volunteer family!
