About Become a Mentor!

HPAC launched a mentoring partnership in the spring of 2016 to provide additional support to our middle school Scholars and to enhance the transition services. Adult professionals and eighth graders are paired and throughout the year, mentors and students communicate via weekly email check-ins, creating a relationship with an additional adult for support along the road starting high school. The mentoring program also involves group trips to build relationships between mentors and students, while creating a safe space to connect with one another
