About Christmas Offering
The Christmas Offering provides 1,636 children in 774 local families with brand new Christmas gifts! 150 families also receive a month's worth of groceries (125 lbs.) for the holiday season.
We need volunteers to help with:
Food Drive
December 19, 2013 7:00pm
HSP is currently looking for schools, businesses and other organizations to host food drives in preparation for our Christmas offering. During the month of December we provide 150 needy families with 250 lbs. of groceries including fresh produce, frozen meats and non-perishables. This is in addition to the 123 seniors enrolled in our Senior Citizen Project. The need is very great!
Giving Trees for Needy Kids
December 23, 2014 7:00pm
We will give you the names and ages of needy children, along with suggested wish lists items. You purchase and wrap new toys and gifts for each child and bring your presents to our center where we will distribute them to the families. Over 1600 needy children served last year!
