About Project Connect 2016
Become a connector for at-risk or homeless families and individuals by linking them to immediate resources at Project Connect! Many volunteer opportunities available! Volunteer training dates will be announced soon!
* Greeter: greets guests as they enter the building
* Guide: escort guests to various resources at the event, sit with them during lunch, etc.
* Setup/Takedown: setup the event by putting up tables and chairs/ takedown tears down the event.
* Personal & pet kit assembly: volunteers assemble personal kits for guests to take home (soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.), volunteers also put emergency pet kits together (dog food, cat food).
*Interpreter: help guests communicate their needs to service providers
*Checkout: collects feedback on the services received
*Children's center: Guests may come to the event with their children. The Children's center volunteer aims to entertain the children while parents receive the services they need without distraction.
