About HOUSE THE HOMELESS: Volunteer Details

Our annual HTH HUGSS Thermal Underwear Drive and New Year's Day Party is our largest event needing at least 100 volunteers where we give new winter survival clothing and more to hundreds at a party complete with hot lunch, gospel music and more at First Baptist Church in downtown Austin.
Other projects include humanitarian aid to those living under area bridges and our annual Memorial Service for the homeless who have died while living on the streets.
There are new opportunities for advocacy and community education coming down the pike this year that we need the general public's help in spreading the news for. This could include poverty simulations, petitions and surveys.
We also need year-round help with IT projects.
