About Vigil Volunteers/Gift of Presence

This wonderful team supports the patient and their family in their final hours of life. Additional training is provided to add to the volunteer's comfort level. It is a privilege to be a part of this comforting journey. Your presence is the utmost gift of caring.

Application Process

A 16 hour training is provided before a volunteer can begin. 12 hours of classroom training and 4 hands on/ field training. * Additional training is provided if needed.
